It's ridiculous that I even have to bother explaining this to you, but it's a federal program that was intended to be expanded by the states as part of ACA. Governor Goodhair and other Republican governors refuse to expand it. Duh!

Sorry Jerry, Bruce is right about republican gov's not accepting medicare expansion. What's the republican plan to insure all Americans can see a doctor if they fall ill. Oh I forgot this one came from the heritage foundation. Talk about hypocrisy. I say single payer with the public option and I'm not calling anyone a name.

Harvey and Bruce-I understand the part about Perry and some other FINE States rejecting ObamaCare, BUT YOU BOTH FAIL!! Buzzer sound goes here.

If there was no ObamaCare, then folks would not lose their Medicare. Both of you missed the entire point-no losses of existing policies or Medicare if NO OBAMACARE. The liar caused this with his nimrods like Pelousy and Reid-Not Rick Perry-Perry didn't vote for ObamaCare-he aint in Congress when the POS act was passed by a bunch of stupid, greedy, self-serving demagogues.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

The Cart comes before the Horse. OK? No horse, then no cart. No ObamaCare, then no loss of coverage. Yawn, "you can keep your doctor too." yawn.

Some governors, including Texas, refused to expand Medicaid, the State program, because the federal funding help was temporary, and these governors realized that it would become another Federal unfunded mandate for the citizens of Texas to pay for.
The president and Democrat party cut the 750 billion in Medicare payments for doctors, so the ACA would be under a trillion dollars. They intended to reinstate those funds until the sequester hit. That's why thousands of elderly Americans will lose the doctors they see, because the doctors actually lose money seeing Medicaid/Medicare patients. United healthcare also pulled out of the medicare part B program, so thousands more elderly will lose their doctor as well.

Do you think that will be better with millions more people to treat and fewer doctors under ACA? It could be 50 million more if the original 30 million uninsured and 20 million more are granted amnesty of some form. Under ACA EVERYONE will wait in clinics to see a foreign doctor.

Point taken. I'm fortunate so far as to not have any known medical issues, however every one of my girlfriends doctors have names I can't pronounce or spell.

LMAO... Very true. My brother is a heart surgeon who pioneered robotic heart survey and has done more of those procedures than anyone in Texas and probably anybody in the country. He said that this whole thing is ------ up. And is being told it's gonna get much much worse.

Glad I'm a land man and robalo is gonna buy the marina/sand bar etc.. And I can go back to be being a SLP fishing expert and bum.

I'd love to be talking about fishing, but this forced government take over of our health care and our freedom of choice is un-American and a threat to our children, grand children, and our nation. The President's routinely ignoring the Constitution and deciding what laws to not enforce are the signs of tyranny. We were founded as a country of laws, not of men.
