The problem with Social Security is that it was mandatory to pay in. So yes, we all feel entitled to get something back. I don't beleive in it because it is a government controlled Ponzi scheme, but I was forced to pay into it, so, just like you, I would like to have a return on my investment. If it would have been optional, you can bet your butt that I wouldn't have paid into it and wouldn't expect anything out of it.

Are you stupid enough that if you had $20,000,000 or $200,000,000 you would NOT put a helluva a lot of it in tax shelters such as tax-free bonds-perfectly legal and any GD Investment Advisor would tell you to do so, so WTF is Obama demonizing someone for making "smart" investments? I see it now: Obama will make $20,000,000 like Clinton and claim it all as "regular income" and be taxed at 35%, so he nets $130,000,000. He should:

1.) Toss the money to the crack ho's and welfare slobs as he drives by.
2.) Put it in a bank making 3% APR
3.) Invest in the stock market and hold the stock for over 1 year and then sell and claim a 15% Capital Gains Tax and invest in Tax Free Municipal Bonds.
4.) Stuff his mattress with it and let it mildew under his slimy wife's stinking body odor.

Which is correct? Per Obama's campaign, Item 1 is the proper choice because rich people are evil. I see Obama throwing his money away and not sheltering every dime he can-DON'T YOU? After all, the Founding fathers gave all their money away to the Indians didn't they? Just as an example of the hypocrisy of a liberal: The typical American liberal will claim he has much compassion for the poor starving children of the world. Yet he has no problem spending $1500 per year to run his air conditioner while 15 million children die from starvation each year. Sources estimate that $50 will feed one of these children for a year. $1500 would feed 30 kids for a year. So the compassionate liberal would rather have his house at 72 degrees than to save 30 kids. Jerry, I sincerely respect and honor your opinions more than I think you know. I appreciate the fact that even though we disagree politically you possess the good manners of not attacking me personally and calling me a "crack smoker" or a union thug or such. To be honest I would love to have you as a democrat on my side of the issues but that's surely to some a laughing matter.
