Romney Offers up an ENERGY PLAN!!
Something that Obama has failed to do, Romney has proposed an Energy Plan for the USA.
Obama has used the Oil & Gas Industry as scapegoats for his failures, his complete lack of understanding of business in general and pushed so-called "Green Energy" which is an economic failure and the "green-ness" of which is quite questionable when taking into account the battery mfg fuel costs and battery disposal and associated costs which show that battery generated cars are in fact overall dirtier than a typical gas powered vehicle. Also, look at the cost of ethanol in gasoline-lower mpg and failure to take into account the fertilizer pollution from field runoff, diesel used to fuel tractors, transportation costs of corn to the refiners and associated pollution attributable thereto, electricity generated by Coal Plants and failure to promote Natural Gas as a cleaner energy source-all Obama plans and all BS and failures-they sound good, but in reality are merely a bait & switch for the worse when he had staring him in the face a much better solution-promote cleaner energy like the use of natural gas-just a dumbsheet with zero business sense-see Solyndra as a prime example and ask your stock broker if he would have advised investing in Solyndra in 2009 and 2010-he would have said "No way".

Today, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney released his campaign’s energy platform as part of his broader economic recovery plan. One of the stated goals is achieving North American energy independence by 2020. Economic recovery and energy security hinge on embracing and expanding access to America’s vast reserves of energy, particularly oil and natural gas.
Mitt Romney’s plan enlists and encourages America’s independent producers to turn these goals into realities. The energy blueprint outlines the enormous boon that the industry’s activity has provided in recent years to the American economy, thanks to advances in well completion technologies that have increased production in shale plays across the nation.
Romney’s plan reflects what IPAA has been urging federal lawmakers: empower states to responsibly regulate onshore development and production. After all, states have a long-standing and successful record of doing just that. Romney promises to open access to resources in federal lands and offshore waters, requests from the states that have been repeatedly stifled by the current administration. Regulatory reform, including streamlining and restoring transparency to the permitting process, is a fundamental pillar of the plan.
Producing more American-made energy is truly a “plan for a stronger middle class.” The outstanding economic advantages that follow from development are prominently featured, including a $500 billion boost to the American economy and the creation of three million new jobs and one million new manufacturing jobs. Increased natural gas production in recent years has driven the cost of this fuel down, providing affordable energy for consumers and feedstock industries. Manufacturing companies are coming back in droves to the U.S., revitalizing rust belt towns and giving hope to struggling families.
Energy security gains from increased American energy production would truly, as the plan states, result in the “Emergence of an Energy Superpower.” The increasingly favorable balance of trade, as outlined through IPAA’s Declaration of Independents campaign, will continue to give the U.S. a long-term competitive advantage in the energy markets. Today, Bloomberg featured U.S. Energy Information Administration head Adam Sieminski’s projections that the U.S. is on course to cut its reliance on imported oil to about 42 percent this year, the lowest in two decades. North American energy independence would mean a safer United States, as our foreign policy decisions and energy markets would be insulated from instability and hostility overseas.
