    BAM!

How the soCialiSts 'splain that one?

A point I want to add is: There is less corruption in a capitalist free market than in a socialist government.

It's easy to explain, the little girl in the story is clearly a racist in the pocket of big oil. And that is of course George Bush's fault.

                    Good posts!

Crony capitalism falls in between and is clearly being demonstrated by the current administration. It is the Daley Machine gone national.

You're right, OleKay. The United States is in between, not completely soCialist, but seems we are moving closer and closer on a daily basis.

In a free market, the consumer has the power to spend his money as he sees fit.

In a soCialist society, the government has the power to spend the consumers money as the government sees fit.

Believing in the free market is equivalent to believing that individuals are smart enough to make their own decisions.

Believing in soCialism is equivalent to believing that the individual is too stupid to make his own decisions.

Sorry for going on and on here, but awhile back I stopped giving to charities. Reason why is that the government has essentially taken over the charity business. They take a trunkload of my money that I earned and dole it out as they see fit. So, now I just let the government handle my charity giving. The phrase "I gave at the office" has a whole new meaning. I gave when I paid my freaking income tax.

thats one is pretty good ... im kinda surprised it was on Rods show.

one anology i used last year was ...

lets say its holloween & you want to go trick or treating to get as much candy as you can. so you leave the house just before the sun goes down. you walk around for a couple hours & have quit a bit of candy & you only have about 30 minutes left until you have to head home. then you go up to a house & the guy answers the door & sees your BIG bag of candy & his bucket is almost empty. so he takes almost all your candy & tells you ... well since you have all that candy there are still kids coming & i'm almost out so im using your candy that you worked hard for to give to the other kids.

kids ... keep your candy hidden!

It wasn't on the show, it was on the friday fail on links and guests. I check it every week always good for a laugh. I know he avoids politics on the show like the plague.
