The Pig Report

Nothing but coons. It looked like they hadn't been there in a few days, there was a lot of corn on the ground before the feeder went off. Thinking about moving it about 20-30 yards in the woods to see what happens.

That was me Bounty. I put some corn out when i was baiting the trap.

Well they didn't show last night. Next time you see Greg asking why he is so jumpy...........

The Story.....

Saturday evening I went over for a little hunting and saw that Greg was not home so I just went on back and climbed in the Tripod a little after 5pm. 15 minutes or so later I hear a truck coming down the road and looked over my shoulder to see it was Greg. He slowed down and stopped next to the tripod and I thought he had seen me or my truck parked not far away and knew I was there. Greg got out of his truck and walked around the back and started towards the trap which is close to my tripod. As he came closer I said "How's it going" and he jumped almost to the point that we were eye level. For a moment I thought he was going to vapor lock on me. After he caught his breath it didn't take him long to get back in his truck and leave. When I was done hunting for the evening I stopped by to say Hi on my way out and we had a good laugh. He said that was the biggest scare he has ever had and knew you guys would be ribbing him from now on about the day Bounty Hunter shook him up......

Went over yesterday evening and two good ones came in about 6:30 but the battery on the light was low again. The moon was bright but just not bright enough to shoot. Was going to go back this evening with a fresh battery, but it didn't work out. I would be able to get over to change the battery until Thursday.

I'm going to head over in a little while and get the battery put in the light and feeder. I'll fill the feeder and I have a block for them also. I have to be to work early in the morning so I won't be able to hunt.........rats.

What time will you be here? Greg and I are going to hunt from the big blind tonight ,I was wondering if the light is working.

Feeder goes off for 10 seconds.

Lights are on a motion detector.
