The Pig Report

Well im out here at camp waiting on ya!

I'd come over this evening but I have arrow orders I have to get finished.

Have we heard anymore about the pigs or are they gone?

Went Saturday evening and had two come in about 6:30, one was about 40lbs and the other was 70-80lbs. The little one was on crack or something and kept spooking over nothing. Of course when it spooked and run the bigger one did the same thing. I watched them for close to 30 minutes before the big one gave me a shot. Just as I was about to release the little one spooked and run, well the big one did the same so my arrow went over it's back. The arrow hitting the ground really set them off and down through the woods they went. Thinking about moving my setup into the woods some so they don't feel so open. That way maybe they aren't so spooky when the come to eat.

Yep, it will just be that much more satisfying in the end. You could already have taken them with a gun if you were just after the meat.

Yep they would be easy pickin with a gun. Heck they would even be pretty easy with a compound bow, but my longbow adds a lot to the challenge.

I will be hunting them tonight and trying the varmint call for the bob cats.Might even get the yotes to come by we have been hearing a few!

Saw one cat got spooked an ran off ,headed to the pig stand.
