  • Help me identify this tract

    I think its either a big bobcat or mountain lion. Up here in Robertson County, Tx..Ive seen plenty of bobcats and mountain lions are fairly rare to see; and this tract is about 5 inches in length.

        Ya couldn't find one that's not in sand?
        Hard to tell but I'll say large canine, go to link and take a look for comparison between feline and canine tracks.

        RC= Beast Tracker.

          i followed it on out to harder ground but couldnt get the entire tract on harder surface. but i never saw claw prints in the sand or harder surface which tells me its a cat.....dude

          did take this picture about 20yds away of the bobcat w/ my cheap a** stealth camera. the tract is bigger than that bobcat because i saw its tracts near the camera.

                  Cool pic Brian.
                  I think what JT saw was one of those feral SLP cats that Hooksetter relocated to JT's ranch. After he fattened them up with Kibbles and Bits.

                          I was gonna say-"it's that farging cougar right behind ya!" Or it's a "snail trail" . I seen cougars in Pleasanton and wouldn't be surprised if one was up there-carry a sidearm-had a buddy almost get jumped-he was stalked for a while before he saw the cat and when he did, she was dang close and was gonna have him for din din!!! No chit about that.
                          "Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

                            Are you talking about one of those "cougars" down on the West End?
