Well, I got up late and decided I'd just walk around a bit today. Made the last corner by a feeder just before camp and a 6 point was standing in the clearing about 120 yards down. Managed a clean free hand shot and dropped him in his tracks.

Thanks guys! I missed a nice deer earlier in the season shooting freehand - I gained some confidence back today. I'd still rather have a steady rest though. LolShut up and FISH!!Comment
