Rogue coyote in dickinson area snatching pets, help wanted

I'm with ya, daddyJ. It's not a good thing when they are roaming the hood and killing pets, and something needs to be done.

Sure makes for good entertainment though sitting out at night waiting for another animal to start squealing and then listen to the coyotes to start there yelping in the woods when they get there meal. Nature and survival at its best. The last few nights in the hood the dog's in the area have been super quiet you can walk the streets and none bark, kinda spooky but cool at the same time.

My property backs up to farmland, and awhile back, wife and I woke up to some terrible squealing along the back fence. Was a terrible eerie scream, continued for a good while. Got up to check it out, shined a flashligt back there, was a rabbit and about 6 sets of eyes right there. We do have a small dog, the wife is now pretty cautious about letting her roam the backyard at night.

I'm woried it may have rabies and start attacking people I don't have a complete fence and a ditch runs through my yard between the houses there are plenty of hiding spots for a preditor to hide and wait we are now being very cautious, my kids are really freaked out and carry flashlights when they go outside at night.

The new outlet mall going up in our area has taking more of there habitat,about 2 weeks ago late night having a smoke on front porch one came across front yard know at night my wife her dacHsund on leash and also packing .new britter porch light

If a coyote is caught by some treble hooks, he will rip himself out of it. They are beasty animals. We have caught them alot in traps and they will do whatever it takes to get out. I put a gut shot on one once, he turned around and starting pulling his guts out with his mouth then hauled azz. You will just have to blast him in the face with a 12 guage.

My little brother had goats at the Ag Barn in Alvin and they had a big problem with them. But not for long.... The 12 guage and the predator call does magic.
