Tell me about the red collared snow goose. How old was he when shot? Where banded?

LOL That goose was not banded. We were actually goose hunting and when that one fell, it fell right by that collar that had come off a goose. I considered it good luck so I threw it on him. I called Bird Band and they sent me an online certificate but I never put it up due to not shooting the actual bird. The snow goose sitting down with the cert. and pic behind it was pretty cool. 35$ reward band. My uncle in the pic had a banded goose that day too. Both were banded by the same guy in the northern part of Canada 8 and 9 years ago respectively. The mallard was a freak band being a jack miner. Our group usually gets lucky with a band or two a year. Maybe i should start selling locks of my hair for luck.
