That is why I never use a deer stand, hunt naked covered in hog oil, sleep outside the night before, eat roots and berries. Oh and when fishing I prefer to snorkle with a fresh picked reed, spy the fish, then swim down and get em in my teeth.

Hope we're not turning into 2cool where we need to impress others with what we killed or caught!

If you have nothing positive to say just do not say nothing... That hunt cost him nothing at all he is part of the deer management team that culls deer off of the ranch... Thank the lord this is not a real hunting board...With comments like that this will be a read only forum like TOS...

That is what that cull buck scored... The score is the same regardless if you sat in the freezing weather or the warm truck... It wasn't pushing 173 it was actually 176...

Wow! I've been deer hunting for 45 years all over this great country of ours. I don't know of "ANY" ranch where a 176 is considered a cull buck. Man I must be huntin' in the wrong places. I watch Jeff Foxworthy on the "The Bucks of Tecomati" every Saturday morning on the Outdoor Channel and I've never seen them take a cull buck that measured 176. Man, I need to get me a lease like that. Wouldnt it be grand...!!

This is exactly why I stopped going on TOS. He did something that was legal and still gets negative comments. If that is what he wants to do and it is legal, then more power to him. We all do thing differently. I would rather catch fish on artificials but could care less if people fish with live bait, gig em or even spear fish. To each his own.
Keep doing what you do Sid!

Yes it would be grand...! Sid lives the dream most would die for, and his son Cade is making memories every season because of it... Just sayin...

douche, definitely and if you weren't jealous, you wouldn't spend so much time on this thread talking about it. You sound like a member of Friends of Animals.

exactly. sid is lucky enough to hunt a ranch that isn't leased out to 500 hunters. Its a true low fence, high acre ranch in south texas. His hunting is what south texas use to be before all the high fences and 500 hunters per ranch at 20k a year lease fee started.

Sid if your out there this appoligy go'es to you and your son , and no matter what else I can never make up to you the Dull luster this topic has left on what you certainly intended to be a wonderful first post I feel poorly that you&Cade had to endure the critisism of your true love Your Ranch animals and Family & Good friends who defend you.Thats something altogether special! I will stand bymy feelings on this heated issue, while at the same time defending your right to Huntlegallyas you like. This was a spirited discussion and tempers often flaired I would hopethat no lingering ill feelings will exist! we will sometimes dissagree. We are humans being! once more my apoligys to you and yours!!
