Went to go visit the folks this weekend and managed to scratch out limits on Friday and Saturday. No biggie there but the reason for the post was something pretty funny happened and since goldspoongeneral posted up his "fail" I figured I would post up mine....
I was sitting at the edge of a stock tank. Spotted a single headed right at me. Out of a natural reaction I guess I went to a squatting position to make myself a little smaller. As the dove got within range I raised my gun and planned on standing up to make the shot. Unfortunately my knees did not get the message my mind was working on. The gun sure enough came up and that bird went directly overhead...so as I swung the gun straight up from the squat position I rolled over on my back like a dad gum egg!
Needless to say I started laughing pretty hard...learned a long time ago that I do not learn to laugh at myself I will be missing one of best jokes to come down the pike in a long long time...
