The skin around the neck was over 1 1/2" thick. I know it would take a pretty close shot for an arrow to make a good damage shot.

Thanks for the congrats! I limit my shots to 20 yards or less but my broadheads would cut through that skin like hot butter with the weight I'm pushing, 622 grains of overall arrow weight. That's why it put the arrow all the way though and out this little guy but it would have great penetration and very adverse affects on a 200 pounder or bigger also........
