Well if this is any indication of how 2011 is going to go, I'm all for it! I finally got a pig this evening. Not a big pig but it is going to be a good eater. 12 yard shot and it only went 20 yards got to love it!!!!!

Way to go Bountyhunter,
I took a 200 pounder with my 270 WSM. We hung it and skinned it. The skin around the neck was over 1 1/2" thick. I know it would take a pretty close shot for an arrow to make a good damage shot. We know to immediately remove the musk sacks so the meat was perfect. Don't let anyone tell you that the bigger pig meat is crap. I prefer the smaller ones as they are just much easier to field dress, and yes, much tastier... The 200 pounder gave me enough smoke links and Jalapeno Cheese Summer sausage to get me thru this years fishing trips....
