Great Bite for the Tournament

Went to one of my favorite wade spots for the tournament sat. Immediately started busting nice fish. I was completely surrounded by mullet. You could see there where several predators under them as they where very excited. Started off on top waters but the wind had already picked up so used a she devil, and skitter walk--white and pink. Rigged a favorite corkey broke back of mine and started hammering them after that. All went around 17-18 with the three I weighed in being a bit larger. I think it was a 22", 19", and a 18" but all pretty fat females. Lost a brute at about 27" right at the net. Nailed 3- reds to 30" and 3- flounder to 21" all before 1030 am. then here came the wind and rain. with more wind. Jumped up and ran to another spot in some protected water but no luck. I think they pretty much switched off after that weather made the change. but it sure was fast action for a few hours. Lots of fun. UNFORTUNATELY MY O2 RAN OUT ON THE WAY TO WEIGH IN OR I WOULD HAVE HAD A 3RD PLACE WIN. MY FISH DIED
