Went out last night/ this morning to fish the end of the incoming and the beginning of the outgoing tide. Got out at 11 to a very very shallow flat as the tide was wayyy out. Because of this, bait was congregated in a deeper gut and the trout were smashing rafts of mullet to their heart's content. First cast I get 6 blow ups. Second cast, I get 6 more. Third cast, I get one explosive blow up and it was a nice 4.5 to 5lber. I made blind casts out into the gut and get blow ups every cast. Once the tide started incoming, the bait disappeared but the fish were still there. By 1 though, both the bait and fish were gone.
