if you're comming down in a truck where is a good access point for fishing trout in the surf? What kind of tide and solunar period is good for the surf or is it better just first thing in the AM like daybreak?

Public beach access road 4 between San Luis pass and Surfside. Throw big top waters

Looks like CPerez and me will be heading down from Magnolia on Saturday as well. Thinking hitting the surf on the west end for the morning and SLP later in the afternoon for the falling tide.

Headed to Sea Wolf park Sat. morning. Went a couple weeks ago and limited on Nice flounder. May kayak out o the ship.
