Wading with artificials

I wrote this a long time ago. I went fishing and couldn't even catch the bottom. A gentleman came by and started catching fish. After the third one, I moved over to him. I saw the way he was moving his rod and reel. I imitated his move and started catching fish. As it was said here, 10% of the people catch 90% of the fish. I use a 1/4oz jig head. Tried 1/8oz, but couldn't feel the bottom or my line. That is just me. As it was said here, whatever makes you comfortable. If it works, stay with it. Lord Bless.

Caught my first spec on plastics last Friday. Nice 20+ 4-5lber. Threw that 4" SW Shad Chicken on a chain with 1/8oz off the boat at Hannas. Thought it was on after that and didnt stop for a picture but it was slow fishing til the lightning ran us off.

Ready to try a wade this weekend and see what we can find from Dollar flats, seawolf or SLP
