I fished upper bay shell this morning and didn't get a bite in the first two hours. Then about 9:00 I saw bait starting to flip and caught three 4# Trout on blk/prl Corky Devil. It was a soft bite, just a hint of a tick…..cross der eyes!

I'm a three-fish "johnny". I caught 3 more this morning almost identical to the ones yesterday. The bite was at the tide change, when the outgoing stopped and the incoming started at maybe 10:00ish. The water was 63 degrees and completely clear. I saw NO bait flipping today, but at least the fish were there. Each one hit a different color Devil.

Well done. Yep they have been very soft on the bite. If you don't know how to work a corky it can make for a long day.

I don't do long days, usually 3-4 hours max. Every bite is different. I had one make a slight tap, the other two inhaled, went weightless or something. It's hard to describe, but I sensed they were there.

I've seen videos on you tube, but they only show you when they catch them. Haven't seen how they fish it. Would like to learn. Lord Bless.
