    This Saturday wade fishing

    Hey All
    Im heading out this Saturday for a trout wade. I was thinking of hitting the back of north deer to start. We finally got some water and a falling BP, Any tips on any schools seen on recent wades this week?

    Let us know how you do. I haven't had any luck there all winter, tho. More of a spring/summer spot for me. I think the spring trout bite is going to be fabulous this year since the winter has sucked.

      Going today myself . I haven't fished since my lack luster performance at last Saturdays tournament .

            I lost a trout right before dark at north deer , wading . Earlier had a bayou 17-18 trout , 20 inch red . WALKINWADER a 17-18 inch bayou flounder and too small red at north deer .fished all day .

              no flounder? I didn't get a phone call?
              the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

                  I went Saturday and picked up 4 nice trout and 2 flounder inside the cut a north deer. Not to bad but my legs gave out on me on the wade. Did a cool little drift right here by my house in bayou vista and caught 3 nice reds. I attached a pic of one of them. I released her once I got home. released all the others. They seem to be still keying in on the more natural colors. One big red stole my soft dine right at the boat so if you catch her with a silver and orange in her mouth its mine.

                    Nice going!
                    I was planning on a wade around 2:30, but the front came through earlier than I expected. Then my wife suggested we hit the hot tub and I forgot all about fishing!

                      Now that's what I'm talking about I'll always take a day off fishin when the wife wants me to jump in the hot tub.
