Fished down in Galveston between some showers this morning. Pretty sporadic from 8:30 til bout 1. First fish by third cast next three came between noon and 1. Tide was pretty high in general good clarity.
Nice bud. All I landed was a bunch of tater chips. Got into a school of jacks during the rain didn't land one though. One came by and smacked my leg. That water was nice and green!!
Best bet I have found is to hit the water just before the outcoming tide starts to ebb. Flatties move with the outcoming flow then hit the deck to take a rest and eat when the water levels rise. Works like a charm either rod and reel fishing or gigging.
