  • Christmas Eve late report

Woke up and saw it was looking nice so I packed up and headed out for a quick trip. Wife gave me the look before I left saying I better be home by 10AM for breakfast since my family was in town and staying with us and her mom was coming over to cook breakfast. Walked in at 7AM. Tide was moving good and there was no wind. Started with top but no luck, corky devil no luck, plastic no luck, switched to the corky floater and fist cast fish on. Missed a couple bumps also because they were hitting so light. Caught 3 more solid fish and as I was stringing the last one I looked down at my watch and crap it was 9:45. Hauled butt back to the truck and barely made it back in time. Total 4 trout 16"-20.5".
