  • Christmas Bay.....no luck

Went out today with high hopes of catching something. Caught one 8" trout, a piggy perch, a hardhead, what I swear was a blue catfish and a backlash or two.

Not so hot. For folks like me that can only go about 5 times a year, luck has just about everything to do with it. Maybe next time.

Get out that wade fishing map and start planning on your next trip now, since you cant go often you really need to watch the postings closer when you feel you'll have the chance to go! Watch the tides and try not to leave it all up to providence, dont be ashamed to get some input,as there is a large body of knowledge on this site! Go gettem next time !

                That's the one.
I usually pull up google earth and look for good spots in an area once I've found a promising spot on the hooknline map. It's a great place to get started.

Thats it ,and google like Bruce say's to get a closer look at it in real time. Failure to prepare=preparing to fail! Were all learning as we go! Most important, have fun!!

I prepare as much as I can, this place has helped immensely. I use some info from here, my tides, my data from Swell Info....The worst day fishing is still better than working around the house....I like it either way, and I still caught at least something.
