Several years ago, (5-7ish), I met and got the opportunity to fish with Captain Greg Francis. I've been fishing all my life, but had never really waded. I followed him around (as much as I could he wades fast!), watched his every move, and used his kind of plastics. I have been on several trips with Greg over the years. I learned alot. I never dreamed I would love wading as much as I do. IMO it is the BEST fishing! Fast forward to LOTB in Matty a couple of weekends ago. I didn't win, but... I held my own. I thought about Greg alot that day, he started this passion for me, and I'm forever grateful. I caught many reds this day, these were the three I kept. Fighting Reds in 2' of water, is just hard to beat.

People think it's just jumping out of the boat or wading in from a bank and walking to the fish. Wrong, like golf, it's one of the hardest things to do right and like anything that hard to do, the most rewarding when you can do it right. It's very humbling to wade side by side with someone and watch them catch fish all day. Great job.

Hell Yea!!!!!! Way to go on the Reds! Those were some fun trips I ran with the ladies of FCT. Thank yall for the good words. We need to plan another trip one day soon. Remember when we were on that one trip in Chocolate catching all those Flounder? That was a fun trip for sure...
