Trying to find a good spot

I am planning on getting some fishing in this coming Saturday and am looking for a good spot to go that i can get to without 4x4 in galveston, mainly wanting to catch some reds or trout. I was thinking about galveston state park. Any suggestions would be appreciated ty!

Mosquito Island is close to Dollar, another place to try,be careful of the deep hole.

Wade fish the Boliver pocket watch for wakes from ships! If thats no good try backside abandend bridge in Boliver!

the surf if its calm enough,8 mile,GISP, SLP,east end of the island in the ship channel.
