Anybody planning on making a wade under the moon this weekend?

I'll be out there somewhere. Just trying to decide if tonight, or Saturday night looks better....? Not sure yet.

no kidding, I've never waded at night but would love too.... where is the party on Sat night? When you guys wade at night, what time do you usually wade?

...I just made it back from "The Miracle at Clear Springs" (My Son Graduated!!) and was wrenching on the flattie. Took a break and looked up to admire the bright as all get out Moon.
I'd have to say that if I were headed out I'd find some good hard bottom near a gut and wait until the tide starts moving, whatever time that is...and bomb the heck out of the drop off with either a topwater or a slow sinker. That would be on an outgoing tide just as it started. Either that or hit the surf if the wind drops a bit, but it looks like it shifted again and is coming out of the South.

I didnt go. Ended up calling off the trip Sat afternoon cause the winds were predicted to pick up throughout the night. May have been right or wrong choice, but I dont like fighting choppy conditions at night and the spot I wanted to fish was not protected. Maybe next time....

did it lastnight(monday) and came home with two slot reds and two specks from 19-22in. my son caught both the reds along with 5 others. not bad for his first time.
