5/19 South Shoreline

Blue and chrome spooks were the ticket this morning. Started out for the surf but got scared off by the waves and headed for the bay. Fast and furious there for a while. Lots of blowups and 2 or 3 fish lost at my hands. Strung 8 from 16 to 24". Gonna sleep in tomorrow and give the fish and myself a rest.

We were headed to the surf, but ibtsoom wisely suggested a change of venue. It was a great morning in the water I only got a pair, but they were nice-22 & 23. It was pretty crowded. When the sun came up we realized we were fishing next to pho cowboy! Nice meeting you Vin!

Great meeting you and Mike as well Bruce ... I've never seen anyone do so many leader touches while tarpon fishing for trout Bruce! Def. a good time hahaha I will have to wear my Lampshade Hat next time so ya'll know it's me... haha
