  • The fish are there

I have been to Sea Wolf Park (Channel Side) three times within the past week. I have been nailing the specks in the morning. Also have been catching quite a few flounder. I fished the morning yesterday, did pretty good so I stayed out there a bit longer. The average size speck was 19-20 while the flounders were 18-19. The water was nice, dispite having the bad weather the past few days. I produced bigger specks and flounder mid afternoon. I caught a few 23in specks and a 24in flounder. All in all it was a good time. Good luck gents.

Thanks 4 the report. I used to go down there quite often, but have not been in a while. We would wade the pier side in the mornings and always do fairly well. Never got skunked and when they came in they would be there for a few days and it would be easy limits.

What did you catch them on and what water depth? Was the tide going in or out? Thanks for the report. I might have to make a trip down that way.

I used all artificial. Pearl silver with chartreuse tail and TTF trout killer2 (grape with red flake and chartreuse tail ). In commingle tide is I believe it was like a 1.8ft tide change.
