  • East Bay Lately?

    I been thinking of goin to the refuge and wading in. This willl be my first time down there any pointers or tips? Hopefully my buddy whos walked in there before will be able to go with me.

    Thanks man. Im really new to wade fishing I just ordered a wade fishing map for East and Trinity bay hoping to get out there as much as possible.

      shuffle feet and look out for gators. never been there, but seen some pics of the gators that hang around there. Lord Bless.

            Yea,when you turn down that white rock road and see those 7-10' gators hanging out on that canal bank,tell us how your wade fishing trip went.And yes,they will come down through those metal pipes and out into the bay.I've seen them out there many times.The water temperature is perfect for them.If you get out of your vehicle and walk down to the water, you better have a firearm on your hip.Be careful!,they are down there.

                        There are alot safer places to wade fish than the refuge gators dont play this time of year.

                          You also need to be aware of lions, tigers, bears, man eating kayakers and fishing guides with radio shows. Its not worth the risk when all the fish are in Chocolate Bay anyway.
