Fish had lock jaw today for the most part. Had a red chasing my plastic for about 20yds pushing a nice wake and wouldnt eat it. Saw a few tailing redfish and pitched live shrimp, a gold spoon, and different plastics and they werent having any of it. Tried my flounder hole in Kemah later on in the day but only got to fish there for an hour and didnt have mullet. Never can get them to bite on live shrimp at that spot either. Either way, was my first trip since Oct, nice to get out on the water, and a whole lot better than working.

Had 7 blow ups there Friday evening, 4 fish, biggest being a 23 in red. But they were there all last week from what some of my friends said. You just gotta know where to find them. Most my fish came in shin deep water. Plenty of rays everywhere thats for sure.

Saw several rays on Sunday. Almost ran over a red in the yak. Think we were both surprised, thing buried itself in the mud . Tide was way low in the morning, got stuck a few times. Next time I'll learn to stay in the channels during a low tide. Also looking forward to "knowing where to find them"fishin' when I can, not when I should...

Since then its not nearly as firm but has the potential for great fishing from a yac.Originally posted by Safari6 View PostDoes anyone knows what are those squares I see on google earth on the bay side of GISP by the cove are for.West Bay Sensai...
