Did anyone wade the park Today, if so How was it? I was supose to go this morning, but something came up.

Funny you should mention that! I've been trying to get out there for a a couple of weeks but things kept getting in my way (not all of them bad, either).
I finally got out to the park this evening around 6. The fog started to lift as I made the hike out. The only bait I saw was one mullet flip in the little cove at the end of Dana's. When I finally made it out to my spot the wind was dying down to almost nothing. I got into the water and started throwing my pearl/chart fatboy. On the 5th cast I thought I'd hit a snag, but it felt funny. I set the hook and fluttered in a nice 19 inch flounder. I don't carry a net, so I just grabbed it, took a quick measure and thought about dinner. Then I made the cardinal mistake: I unhooked the fish before I put him on the stringer. He slipped from my fingers as I tried to string him. It was a tough lesson (again).
I kept at it until almost 8. I never got another hit on cork, but I did get one on topwater and missed it (not paying enough attention).
For a laugh, I finished up with a Chicken Boy flashing lure that I got from a CCA banquet. Zero results.
It was a nice evening in the water. I'll have to go back and find that flounder again!

Dammit i hate it when they slip out of your hands, im thinking about going tomorrow evening, let me know, maybe we can meet up and tag team them Bad Boys
