Spook session & Devil fiasco

Walked in with Jonathon(fishinaddiction) this morning,and right from the get go it was all over for the trout.My 2nd cast I nailed my first fish,solid 20".I was throwing the solid black spook and never took it off.Jonathon was wearing 'em out on the "Texas chicken" devil.We caught 35-40 trout between the two of us and had our 2 man limit at 8:30.I never got my boxes wet on my waist;all the fish were in knee to thigh deep water and going APE S&^% on that spook.It was a very aggressive bite,they were'nt missing it by no means,they were eating this morning.Soft mud in 2.5-3 feet was where they were holding.Tons of bait and left 'em still going crazy on the black spook.All of our fish were 19-24",3-4.5 lbers.The wind was SE at about 10-12 and super clean water.Solid action until we walked out at 10am.

Good job this is why I love the reports on FWE and usually won't even bother on 2cool. Most of them over there are, "hey x lure company strikes again caught 1,000,000 trout here's a pic!" As if that type of report has ever helped anyone figure out the baits, retrieve, pattern, etc. Lol. In my head I am just thinking yeah nobody cares.

Anyways, looks like yall tore their a**es up. Gotta love topwater action like that!!!
