So I decided a few weeks back to take today off so I could do some fishing. Saw the forecast for cold and windy and decided even though the conditions were pretty horrible I would give it a go ( Have not been fishing since I had twin boys; 3 months!). I was just fishing anywhere I could get some protection from the wind. Waded the back marshes of sportsman to start, thinking maybe a red, or flounder, caught two small flounder, then I went to the surf to try for some bull reds. It was warmer for me swimming my bait out then it was on the beach. As far as the fishing went it was horrible, but it sure was nice to get out there.
