Wading tomorrow

Planning on wading in somewhere tomorrow somewhere around Galveston. Have not been in awhile, so I am not sure if I should start in the surf or on the bay side. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

See red tide warning in forum if considering wading in surf near SLP. You can try Sea Isle flats. Wade in by the pier and go north along the shoreline. Or there's the state park, if you know the area and avoid walking on sea grass and stay on sandy bottoms only (please). I don't know how water clarity in bays is now but those two areas usually hold up on bad days. Good luck.
