I was going yesterday and the radar did not look too good and it seems it turned out ok.

So, I went this morning and it was definitely sporty if that is what you call waves crashing over your head!!. the water was green to the beach and a lil sandy at Surfside near SLP. I think I was between marker 4-5. There was alot of seaweed in the water, I found out later it was from off the beach because after I moved closer to SLP. there was less.

I entered the water about 5:45 got 2 hookups and lost them at the end of the rod. While untangling a gnarly backlash I got rolled by a huge wave crashing on top of my head. Well, i lost a small tackle box from my wade belt with 5-6 new topwaters in it. I also had decided to have my license in possession this time and it got ripped out of one of my pockets during the tumble.

I landed 4 fish all right at 15" and lost several more. I decided that the way my day was going, no way in heck was i taking no fish ashore!!!!! Be my luck the Game warden pulls wanting to see my now gone license.
