Dats a big one. Good job. The best, is being about three hundred yards out on a yak and catching one.....

Have you caught one on a yak? I actually just bought my first yak a few weeks ago and have only been out on it a few times. I can't even imagine catching a fish that size on it! Has to be one of the biggest adrenaline rushes you can have knowing you have something huge on the other end but not knowing what it is until its close

That's a good surf Bull for sure , congratulations!
This is a buddy with one big redfish caught in shallow water, near Venice, on a spook jr. It pulled three of us and my boat for 15 + minutes.

I had a big one like that almost swamp my kayak as I was up against a drop off bank near the SLP bridge . My peripheral vision saw something surfacing to my left next to the kayak like a submarine . Just as I turned to look , the right side of its back touched the kayak and it exploded away leaving me rocking in a tsunami wake . The scales were the size of half dollars . Scared me rightous .
