    Looks like it could be happening again. The surf forecast calling to be flat starting wed evening lasting til sat evening. Might have to go Thurs and Friday if forecast holds.

      Yeah that's what I have been hearing. From gtown to matagorda. Forecast on tides still show a low incoming tide pretty much all week, guess I will be on the third bar. Funky tides will get cha every time.

        I I couldn't believe how far all the tourist we're out in day surf.

          Tide is still way out and like Chris said it is nasty brown, so it will take a day or two for it to clean up. Let's keep this thread going, so we all know if and when it might happen.

                Let's jump in Not looking so good out there. I will go and check the beach front this evening to see if it looks any better. Hopefully the wind gods will help us out!

                  I'm prepared to bail out of work on Thursday and put a wade on somewhere. I would like to see the surf clear. Otherwise, I'll be bay side somewhere.

                    It was looking a "little" better around 8:00 last night and the winds are light right now, I will check it out on my way off the island this morning and let everyone know what it looks like when I get back as well.

                      Everyone pray to the fishing gods....start out friday in surfside beach house for a week. Would really be great to have a couple days decent.

                          Swells has galveston surf flat but only fair water quality for friday so far .
