I had a couple pull off right at daylight and then it shut off like a switch.

In the water at 5:45, lost my all black Super Spook Jr. , so I threw on the bone. Once the sun came up, had a nice blow up, but missed her. Kept throwing tops and finally landed one keeper, only 19". Slow, but beautiful morning and sunrise.

Well its been fun the past week. I suppose the forecast did hold true for a little bit. Now I have to drive to AL for the weekend. Anyone fished Orange Beach/Perdigo Bay? Tips... I see they are catching kingfish from a local pier..that's got to be fun. Hope the surf stays cooperative for y'all.

Was in the water at the pay beach at Surfside at 5:40; for an hour nothing but pesky bluefish. Drove down to SLP and caught one keeper on the second bar near where the pier used to be. Spent quite a bit of time observing others between Surfside and the Pass and did not see one bent pole. Tomorrow AM will have to be the MOB
