More trout on spook jrs this morning. Not as fast as yesterday, but they were biting pretty good until sunrise.
Biggest fish came later in the morning, and was the only one on plastic. Released her as I already had 5 specks and she wasn't all trebel-thrashed.
Got a bluefish on top too, that's a first for me.
Had a lot of trouble landing them today for some reason. Quite a few came off the hook, including one that was probably a hell of a trout (if it was even a speck)

Just like yesterday, there were acres of mullet rafts in the surf, and the predators were pounding them. A lot of fish caught right at the edge of the mullet schools.
Well that should just about get me to the amount of trout I'd like to keep in the freezer. Gotta love those low-toxin surf runners
