It's almost flat and green but sandy green inshore. An incoming tide or wind switch could free it to the beach easily.The seaweed may be a problem in close but didn't see much outside.

This is my solution. Get up every morning at the crack of dawn and look at the beach. If it looks good, check the weather forecast/ tides. If it's mostly good, get on the phone and call your work with a disease stricken voice that you are not feeling well.
