The fiance and I had a geat two days in the surf at surfside. It was a little chilly both mornings but the sun broke through around noon today. Unlike yesterday when the bite stopped around 10, today we had steady hookups until 12. Once the sun came out and the temperature begin to rise, so did the bite. From noon until 3, we had a fish on every cast. All the fish where feeding in a frenzy between the first and second sandbar. We boxed 14 yesterday and both reached our limits today. Both days we caught more dink trout than we could count. Along with losing our fair share of keepers just before they could be netted. The icing on the cake came today when I landed this 27" 5 1/4 pd beauty on the last shrimp in my bait bucket. Nothing like the excitement of a folded rod and hearing the drag scream. Along with the adrenalin rush once it has finally been netted. Days like this are the reason I get up at 4 in the morning and drive a hour and a half. Blessed to see another day and be doing something I truley love with my love ones right beside me. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as awesome as the last two. Good Luck!
