I had a Dr appt this afternoon so i took a sick day from work and went fishing. Got to surfside about 7 am started off with a topwater, after 30 min and only 2 little blow ups, i switched to plastic. Then after making 3 moves in the next 3 hours and only having only scratched out 1 small trout and a little jack i decided to call it a day. I headed towards the pass, on the way i see a guy stuck trying to get on the beach. I turn around to help, long story short i pull him out. As we part ways he shakes my hand and says "karma's on your side today". I go on my and cross over the pass. On the way i decide to stop on the beach
at access 36 to clean all the sand out of my feet and floorboard. The water looks so good and not having to be at the Dr till 3 i decide to do a little more fishing. I start throwing a big spoon, just trying to cover a lot of water. In no time ive scratched 2 small trout.
I switched to plastic trying to fish more through. Long story short in the next 2 hours i catch
25 plus trout with about half of them being keepers and 2 big whiting. All released to fight another day.
I guess Karma was on my side.
