picked these up 1 foot max on slow retrieve fast is 1 to 2 inches below the surface. im gonna start fishing more crank baits everywhere to see where it goes.

I saw a show on WFN that they fished the Sabine Jetties with crankbaits and nailed the reds and trout. Let us know how they work and which works best. I've used rattle traps and got a few trout with them.

i saw flats class do it in the galveston jetties but i figure if top waters slow down and soft plastics are getting hit theese shallow divers might jsut be the ticket also i fish alot of salt grass and grass flat areas i think the reds will murder them.

I caught my biggest trout last week on a floating rapala, they dive about a foot or so. They are worth a shot!

manns minus 1 is not a knock off of a bomber model A, 2 totally different types of crankbaits.
A model A will dive 3-5 ft ,a minus 1 will never go deeper than a foot.

Thanks for clarifying this just something my neighbor who is an old school bass fisher told me it looked just like a modle a I.e. The knock off comment. I have high hopes for these crank baits

NOOOOO! You are tempting me to go out and buy more stuff! I must resist!

But really, the crank baits work. Usually the shallow 1-2 ft stuff in the bay and surf and the deeper cranks at the jetties. Usually, it would be plain silver.

The. Big one is 5 /8ths so make sure you have a rod that can throw it. The small one should be no problems

A friend of mine was throwing something like that when I was in Matty a few months back. It looked like it would work great but we never caught anything. Of course, none of our lures did any better!
I've been thinking of trying something like that for fun. Who knows?

Well i already found one use for it my moms dog theo is over weight and he apparently likes to chase the damn thing around the pool when i practice my short cast and tries to eat it i need to get some video of it now. Any ways if we go fishing i have 1 5/8ths and 2 baby ones we can all try out. that way we can try the different colors i plan on picking up a nice orange and black i saw as well.

word of warning...a redfish can really tear up some of the trebile hooks on cranbaits not to say what the saltwater will do to them.

I have had good success with the wakers over shallow grass and shell. Have caught reds and trout on them.
