if it makes you feel any better the bite wasn't major. we got in at daybreak and ended up w/ 9 keepers, a few throwbacks, and some bluefish. live bait. the water is beautiful though, lots of bait, and not too rough.

slow in surfside this morning,had 3 trout before the sun came up on tops.caught some mullet and fished until 8:30.ended up catching a bunch of smacks , bluefish and a flounder.the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.
