Friday Morning

I went for about an hour this morning and not much happening. I had a couple of tiny trout early in the first gut on top. Guys throwing shrimp are limiting out on small trout.
I think I'll go in the bay after breakfast, although the bite in the surf may get better about 10ish...

before i left yesterday, me and a buddy fished the surf from about 7 to 8 a.m and caught probably 30 trout or so. they all were about 14 to 14.75 inches w/ the exception of 8 that were right at 15 that we kept/ all on topwaters.

I also caught the biggest spanish mackeral Ive ever caught in the surf and cut my line as as I grabbed it. Water was in good shape
