  • A Nose For Fish.....!

It was blowing SW this morning about 10+ and the current was of course honking East, which made the surf pretty ragged ,but surprisingly green like it was yesterday evening.
I fished my favorite rip that was carrying bait through the first sandbar to hungry trout. The chrm/blu Super Spook and the same pattern in a Shepup were effective.
I limited out by 7:00 and probably had at least another 10 when the bite slowed down at 8:30. Nothing big, but mostly keeper size 15"-18".

Solid ... generally this time of summer you find the bigger specs have moved out of the surf to the bays ...

I believe they are following the shrimp migrations ....but who really knows ....

BUT there are some resident big girls that hang in the beach front ...and near the jettys too ..... and they did'nt get big by eating your lure...so you better be on your game
