I went in at 6:00 and fished 30-40 minutes with no blow-ups. On my way around the block to yoga. I'll hit it again about 9:00. Not too rough and water a little sandy but fishable.

Thanks Kenny and RBenton."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Got my feet wet in the surf around 6:30 this morning...popping cork with live shrimp. Bite was steady til about 10:30. Should have caught my limit but my net man (me) let two nice keepers get away lol. Ended up with 9 keepers 15"-19"...8 on popping cork and one on an electric chicken with an 1/8oz jig head. Seems like the trout were really hungry and aggressive this morning....as soon as my cork hit the water it was going under. Probably caught 30+ fish in total. Good times!

18"-24" under the cork TXDU...I like it because it seems easier to cast accurately and control distance. Not sure if there is a science to it or not. The fish were so aggressive Monday that I think it wouldn't have mattered what you threw out there though. A guy close to me was catching plenty on an artificial. I really would like to learn the topwater thing...have yet to really try it. They say its a rush.

Thanks. I hope they are still aggressive like that this weekend...
Tops are a complete blast, you need to give it a try. Plenty of folks on this site to help you out.
