Got to the surf Sunday morning at 6 am. It didn't look good at all. Way to rough and choppy. So I decided to fish the bay. Threw topwater and had a few small blowups but nothing stayed on. Fished until 8:30 and decided it wasn't happening. Stopped by the surf again and the water color was good, sandy green. The waves had layed down a bit also. First half-hour didn't get anything. Then got a pretty steady bite from 9:30 - 12. Boxed 7 trout with the largest being 27 in. Again, silver spoon was the key.

Nice going!"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Great job. The last 3 times I went to the surf, I did more swimming, then fishing. Me and my brother-in-law caught 3 keeper trout to 19" and a sandie agt 15" 2 weeks ago. We were jumping waves or ducking through them. They were pretty big. I would like to go in the morning, but I want to be able to stand.
