    Those are seabobs Yan -- different genus and species than the regular brown and white shrimp. Still taste good though! They are definitely thick like that at certain times -- I've seen shrimp trawls full of them to the point of busting.

      That is bay side not the surf...

      Gibby go into x-mas or Bastrop bay & you will find some skrimps...

            Haha, I was just trying to pull Gibby's leg. I took that pic about 3 years ago, and it was in the gulf off of a rock groin BTW.

            Good call Ibtsoom, they are seabobs. I didn't know that initially, but I suppose it would be no problem for a man with experience in the business
