live shrimp!

if any of you are going down to fish the surf stop and get some shrimp.i fished all morning throwing everything i had in my tackle box and only caught 3 small trout.every person i saw using live shrimp caught a limit and then some.i also tried some mullet and shinners i got in the cast net,nothing but sharks.

I hear Clark08 is selling his Dyed Shrimps outta the trunk of his car-along with fireworks, some removed serial number saturday night special pistols and cartons of cigs down by the Pass. He may be gone by now though-the Sheriff may have scared him over to Surfside?????

Anyone ever use those DOA shrimp on a popping cork or freelined? Any specific colors? success/tips?

I have never had luck with DOA shrimp. Under a cork, bumped along bottom, freelined.... nada...

I've tried them before also with negative results, bought some new penny gulps anxious to try them out, any good spots out there?

new penny gulp work anywhere you throw em. caught 2 limits of specks along with every species in east bay last friday. even caught 2 triple tails to 3lbs!!!
